The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) announced on Tuesday, Nov. 21, the cancellation of some flights due to unfavorable weather conditions.

According to the airport authority, as of 8:40 AM, the following flights have been canceled:

PAL Express (2P)

  • 2P 2079/2080 Manila-Catarman-Manila

CebGo (DG)

  • DG 6177/6178 Manila-Masbate-Manila
  • DG 6113/6114 Manila-Naga-Manila
  • DG 6117/6118 Manila-Naga-Manila

Weather

Based on PAGASA's latest weather forecast, the shearline and the notheast monsoon or amihan, will bring rains to several parts of the country.

Visayas, Bicol Region, MIMAROPA, Zamboanga Peninsula, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi will experience cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the shear line.

Cagayan Valley and Quezon will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the northeast monsoon.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains also due to the northeast monsoon.

Meanwhile, the rest of Mindanao will have partly cloudy to partly cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to the localized thunderstorms.
