

Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) General Manager Cesar Chiong reiterated his instruction for airline operators to ensure maximum attendance of manpower in case augmentation arises during this coming Christmas break.
Chiong also ordered MIAA's own operations and engineering teams to ascertain the reliability of all facilities and equipment that can highly impact flight operations.
Airlines were also instructed to keep the passengers become aware if their luggage was not loaded on the flight and compensate them based on the Air Passenger Bill of Rights.
Over the weekend, an incident happened where some luggage failed to arrive with its owners in Manila.
On social media, netizens expressed their disappointment in experiencing delayed flights and having to wait for the baggage for a long time.
MIAA said that Chiong already ordered a thorough inspection of this system.
