The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) is addressing elevated temperatures at Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 following issues with Chillers 1, 2, and 4.
To prevent major damage, MIAA temporarily shut down the chillers for troubleshooting, which includes descaling, cleaning, and swabbing.
Cooling fans have been deployed throughout the terminal to alleviate discomfort.
MIAA expects troubleshooting to be completed by tomorrow morning, with improved temperature conditions anticipated by noon.

MIAA General Manager Eric Jose Ines thanked passengers for their patience and recommended wearing light clothing, bringing personal fans, and staying hydrated to cope with the temporary heat.
