

Mean Girls: The Musical? That is so fetch!
The musical film adaptation of Mean Girls just started its production.
In a social media post, the movie revealed a photo featuring a clapperboard with directors written on it including Samantha Jayne, and Arturo Perez Jr., with Bill Kirstein as director of photography.
"Get in, loser. We're starting production on Mean Girls Musical. #MeanGirlsMovie," written in the caption.
The upcoming musical film will be based on 'Mean Girls The Musical' performance in Broadway in 2018.
Bringing both new and familiar faces, the film will be starred by Reneé Rapp as Regina, Angourie Rice plays Cady, Avantika will play Karen, and Bebe Wood portrays Gretchen.
They will also be joined by Tim Meadows as Principal Duval, Tina Fey as Ms. Norbury, Auli’i Cravalho as Janis, Jaquel Spivey as Damian, and Christopher Briney will play Aaron Samuels.
The film will be available on Paramount+.
