“Batang Quiapo” star McCoy de Leon, who was among the millions of devotees present during the Feast of the Black Nazarene, shared his experience when he was able to touch its carriage on Tuesday, January 9.

In his Instagram post, de Leon shared how he bravely survived the crowd of faithfuls who hoped to get close and touch them the “andas” or carriage that carried the Black Nazarene's image.

“Tanging nasa isip ko lang nung kaharap ko siya ang mga mahal ko sa buhay at ang pamilya ko," he said in his caption.

The actor said that when he saw the image and touched the carriage, all he could say was thanking the Black Nazareno.

De Leon also shared a photo of himself and his daughter Felize, while they both cheered “Viva! Viva!", showing his feet covered in dirt from the procession.

“Sa mga kapatid ko na deboto saludo ako sa tindi ng pananampalataya niyo walang nagbabago. Viva Poong Nazareno,” he continued in his post.
