The Manila Broadcasting Company (MBC), known as the major radio and television network in the Philippines, officially entered a new era as it unveiled its revamped company logo and company name on Tuesday, February 6.
The company’s brand new identity was unveiled during the MBC trade event led by MBC President Ruperto 'Jun' Nicdao Jr. and MBC executives at the Aliw Theater, CCP Complex, Pasay City.
Nicdao announced that MBC officially changed its name to MBC Media Group, a bold transformation that ushers in a new era.
The company's new logo was also revealed. It features six ellipsis that symbolizes six pillars of the MBC Media Group which are radio, television, events, promos, digital, and talents.
The text color remained true to MBC Media Group’s traditional color palette which is blue and white.
"Our new logo reflects fluidity as we evolved and adapt to the present and the future," the MBC president said.
"It also represent soundwaves from our legacy business and signifies a wider digital reach. Our dear partners, our new brand name is a symbol of a bigger and stronger integrated media platforms to help you grow your businesses. For our audiences, it means more ways to serve them with information, entertainment, and community services. As our audiences grow, together we grow. Kaya Sama-Sama Tayo Pilipino," Nicdao continued.
MBC Media Group’s brand new logo opted for a sleeker, more modern design that resonates with the Filipino audience.
Present during the trade event were MBC Media Group's trusted partners, whose collaborative efforts have been instrumental in achieving shared goals and fostering continuous growth.

MBC Media Group operates six AM and FM networks in the Philippines — DZRH, Love Radio, Yes FM, Easy Rock, Aksyon Radyo, and Radyo Natin.
