Leading up to the much-anticipated trade event of Manila Broadcasting Company (MBC) on February 6, employees of the media giant shared their thoughts on the network's tagline, "Sama-sama tayo, Pilipino!"
"'Sama-sama tayo, Pilipino' means having someone who supports you through good times and bad," said radio personality Raqi Terra, a disc jockey for 90.7 Love Radio, the flagship FM station of MBC.
"It also reflects the thrust of Love Radio to bring joy and inspiration to its listeners," added DJ Raqi, whose real name is Jessey Anne Guiam.
Johnny Faith Quiling, Assistant Vice President for FM Network Operations, echoes these sentiments.
"When we play our songs, conduct our events and promotions, these are the ways we bring together the Filipino people," Quiling said.
For John Galang, MBC Director for Ad & Promo of MBC, the tagline means finding a common direction and thrust that will make all Filipinos happier and more prosperous.
"This is why we run promos that are open to all Filipinos nationwide, we give everyone a chance to win prizes all throughout the year," Galang said.
