Maynilad Water Services Inc. announced that customers in several Metro cities and provinces will experience water service interruptions in October.
“To ensure that our reservoirs have enough stored water to supply customer needs during hours of peak demand, the following daily service interruptions will be implemented this October 2022.,” Maynilad said in a service advisory issued on Wednesday, Sept. 28.
Affected areas in Metro cities are Caloocan, Makati, Malabon, Manila, Navotas, Parañaque, Pasay, Quezon City, Valenzuela, and Las Piñas.
In Cavite, the areas affected by the water interruption are Rosario, Bacoor, Noveleta, Imus, and Kawit.
Meanwhile, Barangay Catanghalan is the only affected area in Bulacan.
The water services provider urged affected customers to store enough water when supply is available in their respective areas.
It assured that there are water tankers on standby and ready to deliver when needed.
“Upon resumption of the water service, customers should let the water flow out for a few seconds until the water clears. We apologize for the inconvenience, and thank you for your support and understanding,” it said.
