Maynilad Water Services Inc. on Tuesday announced that several Metro cities and provinces will experience eight-hour water interruption for a week this January.

In an advisory, Maynilad said the water interruption will start at 10:00 pm until 6:00 am from January 18 to 31.

The affected areas are as follows:

• Noveleta, Cavite
• Rosario, Cavite
• Cavite City
• Parañaque City
• Las Piñas City

According to the water services provider, the water interruption is due to the "ongoing repair of sludge removal equipment of the treatment plant in Putatan, Muntinlupa."

"Sakaling tuluyan nang bumalik sa normal ang water production ng aming planta, agad din naming isu-suspinde ang nasabing daily service interruption schedule," Maynilad assured customers.
