Actor and TV host Matteo Guidicelli will join the "Unang Hirit" barkada and is set to star in the drama "Black Rider" with Ruru Madrid.
Guidicelli signed his contract with GMA Network on Friday and shared that he felt overwhelmed by the new journey he will take with the network.
In an interview, he shared that people in the said network welcomed him and admitted that he was incredibly touched by their warm welcome, hospitality, and kindness.
Moreover, Guidicelli revealed that one of his earlier showbiz projects was with GMA-7 when he was on a summer break while studying in Chicago.
"I'm beyond excited and honored to embark on this journey with Public Affairs, where we'll be sharing the inspiring stories of Filipinos with the world," he captioned on his Instagram account.

When asked about his wife, singer-actress Sarah Geronimo,’s reaction to the new journey he was about to take, Guidicelli proudly said that Geronimo is fully aware of his decision and has her blessings.
Meanwhile, Guidicelli is also set for documentary specials for GMA Public Affairs, apart from the morning show.
