The retrieved bodies from the landslide that occurred in Brgy. Masara Maco, Davao de Oro, now totals 85, according to the Municipal Disaster and Risk Reduction Office (MDRRMO) of Maco.

In its Wednesday evening, Feb.14 bulletin, 85 individuals were confirmed dead, an increase from the 71 recorded deaths confirmed by 2nd District Rep. Ruwel Peter Gonzaga on Wednesday morning.

This brought the number of missing individuals to 38, down from the 63 recorded missing on February 11.

Meanwhile, injured individuals remained at 32.

Also on Wednesday, Congressman Conzaga and the Davao de Oro Governor extended their deepest condolences and sympathy to the bereaved families of the victims.

On the same day, nine identified bodies were laid to rest at Mawab Public Cemetery.

The provincial government assured that the affected families would be assisted in their losses.
