

Filipina drag queen Marina Summers will be representing the Philippines in the highly-anticipated season 2 of “RuPaul’s Drag Race: UK vs the World”.
Summers was among the candidates revealed by Los Angeles-based streaming platform WOW Presents on X (formerly known as Twitter) on Saturday, January 13.

The "Drag Race Philippines" season 1 finalist confirmed her participation in an X post.
“I wanna show the universe, the WORLD rather, that I am a true Filipina Winnah! And baby this time, I'm taking over the Mother-Tucking WORLD!” she captioned.
Summer was clad in a royal blue gown that was said to be inspired by Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach’s winning gown.

Other drag queens revealed were Arantxa Castilla-La Mancha from Spain, Hannah Conda from Australia, Keta Minaj from Holland, La Grande Dame from France, Mayhem Miller, and Scarlet Envy from the United States of America.
Episode 1 of “RuPaul’s Drag Race: UK vs the World” will premiere on February 9 on WOW Presents Plus and BBC Three United Kingdom.
Several Filipina drag queens have joined RuPaul’s Drag Race competition over the past years.
In 2022, Filipina-American drag queen Aura Mayari represented the country in the 15th season of “RuPaul's Drag Race.”
