A massive fire erupted at a warehouse in Purok 7, Brgy. Malanday, Marikina City on Wednesday, February 12.
The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) reported that the fire was first reported at 11:20 a.m. and was promptly elevated to a third alarm at 11:52 a.m.

In addition, 14 fire trucks and an ambulance were dispatched to the scene to manage the fire incident.

The fire was declared under control at 2:42 p.m., with one reported injury—a first-degree burn to the lower extremities.
Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of the fire.
