President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. expressed his unwavering trust in Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco amidst the criticism she faced regarding the "Love the Philippines" campaign video featuring footage from foreign locations.

When questioned about Frasco's reliability, the president confidently responded to reporters, saying, "Yes absolutely. No question."

Marcos disclosed that he has remained in communication with the tourism secretary since the controversy emerged and expressed his belief that Frasco has effectively managed the situation.

"Nakita ko naman mabilis ang galaw niya, that she terminated the contracts that were in question. She has also since then put under review all of the other contracts that were in the pipeline," he stated.

"What she has done so far inspires confidence that she will fix the problem and that the campaign of 'Love the Philippines' will be as successful as we hope for it to be," the president further emphasized.

In response to the use of stock footage in the video, the advertising agency DDB Philippines earlierexpressed regret and clarified that no public funds were involved.
