President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. on Monday said he had a "promising" meeting with the Singaporean leaders during his 5-day visit to the said country.
In a post, Marcos said he had a chance to discuss important matters with Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Deputy Prime Minister Lawrence Wong before watching the F1 Grand Prix upon the invitation of Lee.
"The discussions with Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Deputy PM Lawrence Wong have been promising. Our countries can expect enhanced collaboration on multiple fronts to address common global challenges," the President said in his post on Monday.
"Later in the evening, we watched Ferrari clinch the podium at the F1 Grand Prix," he added.
During his stay in Singapore, Marcos attended the 10th Asian Conference and had a series of meetings with businessmen who expressed interest in investing in infrastructure and power sectors.
Aside from business meetings, Marcos was also invited to see the F1 race.
