Two of the outgoing Cabinet officials of President Rodrigo Duterte: Silvestre Bello III and Karlo Nograles will be joining the administration of President-elect Ferdinand Marcos Jr., his camp announced Thursday.

In a statement, incoming press secretary Trixie Cruz-Angeles announced that outgoing Labor Secretary Bello was named by Marcos as the Chairman and Resident Representative-designate of the Manila Economic and Cultural Office (MECO).

Meanwhile, he also renominated Nograles as chairman of the Civil Service Commission (CSC).

Nograles was among the Duterte ad-interim appointees that were bypassed for lack of quorum by the Commission on Appointments.
