Marcos on Ash Wednesday: 'Let us all reflect and renew our faith'

President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. urged Filipino Catholics on Ash Wednesday to reflect and renew their faith.
Marcos posted a photo of him receiving an ash imposed on his forehead
“In observing Ash Wednesday, let us all reflect and renew our faith,” the President said in a Facebook post.

Filipino Catholics on Wednesday flocked at churches on Wednesday to have ashes laced on their foreheads as they marked the beginning of the 40-day Lenten season.
The solemn commemoration fell on the same day as Valentine’s Day on February 14.
