President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. received a high net satisfaction rating in September 2023 in all areas except Mindanao, according to the result of Social Weather Stations' (SWS) fourth quarter survey.

Marcos's net satisfaction rating rose to +47 which was classified as "good" by SWS. This is three points above the +44 "good" rating recorded in September 2023.

The chief executive had the highest rating in Balance Luzon at +52 "very good", Visayas at +51 "very good", Metro Manila at +44 "good", and Mindanao at +38 "good".

"Compared to September 2023, net satisfaction with Pres. Marcos rose by 8 points from +36 in Metro Manila, by 4 points from +48 in Balance Luzon, and by 18 points from +33 in the Visayas. However, it fell by 12 points from +50 in Mindanao," the research institute noted.

SWS also bared that Marcos's net satisfaction in rural areas went up to +56 "very good" and fell to +39 "good" in urban areas.

Out of the 1,200 adult Filipinos surveyed in Metro Manila, Balance Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, 65% said they were satisfied with Marcos' performance as the chief executive.

Contrarily, 18% of Filipinos were dissatisfied with the president's work and 17% were undecided.

The SWS survey was conducted from December 8 to 11, 2023.

The 1,200 participants, aged 18 years old and above, were interviewed face-to-face. They were asked of the question: "Kayo ba ay lubos na nasisiyahan, medyo nasisiyahan, hindi tiyak kung nasisiyahan o hindi, medyo hindi nasisiyahan, lubos na hindi nasisiyahan, o wala pa kayong narinig o nabasa kahit na kailan tungkol kay FERDINAND MARCOS, JR.?"
