President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. extended his warm greetings to Filipinos as the nation celebrates International Women’s Day and National Women’s Month.
In his statement, Marcos highlighted the vital contributions of women throughout history, noting their courage, resilience, and selfless dedication that have helped shape the nation’s identity, values, and future.
“To be a woman is to carry many responsibilities at once. A Filipina does this with resilience and heart, turning obstacles into opportunities and hardship into hope,” the President said.
“Where there is care, there is a woman. Where there is sacrifice, there is a Filipina giving her all so that others may have a better future.”
The President also reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to ensuring that every woman is heard, respected, and empowered. He emphasized the importance of opening more spaces for women to lead and recognize their full potential, guiding the country toward a more just, inclusive, and hopeful Bagong Pilipinas.
“Mabuhay ang lahat ng mga kababaihan! Mabuhay ang bawat Filipina saan mang panig ng mundo!” Marcos added.
