

Running-mates Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos, Jr. and Davao Mayor Sara Duterte led the pre-election survey carried out by OCTA Research Group for presidential and vice-presidential preferences.
Marcos emerged with a wide lead as the most-preferred candidate in the Tugon ng Masa (TNM) survey with 55% of the respondents choosing him. He also led in the National Capital Region (46%), Balanced Luzon (56%) , Visayas (47%), and Mindanao (65%).
Vice-President Leni Robredo came in second with 15%, followed by Manila Mayor Isko Moreno with 15%.
Senator Manny Pacquiao came in third with 11%, followed by Senator Panfilo Lacson with three percent.
Among the respondents, five percent said they do not know who to vote for, one percent refused to give an answer, and 0.3% said they do not have a preferred presidential candidate in the elections.
Duterte leads as VP
For vice president, Davao Mayor Sara Duterte is the most-preferred candidate after being chosen by 43% of the respondents. She is also leading in the NCR (40%), Visayas (43%), and Mindanao (82%).
Senate President Vicente Sotto III came in second place, with 33% of the respondents choosing him. He shared a lead with Duterte in NCR at 40%, and overtook the presidential daughter in Balanced Luzon by having 46% of the respondents.
Senator Francis Pangilinan placed third with 10%, followed by Doc Willie Ong with seven percent, and then former Manila Mayor Lito Atienza with one percent.
Four percent said they do not know who to vote for as vice president, two percent refused to give an answer, and one percent said they do not have a preferred candidate.
OCTA fellow Guido David said the TNM survey was carried out in-person among 1,200 respondents nationwide from February 12 to 17. It was also non-commissioned and has a three percent margin of error.
According to David, they plan to have another survey in March.
