President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. suspended work in government offices on March 27, Holy Wednesday, from 12 p.m. onwards.
Under Memorandum Circular No. 45, Marcos said the suspension would allow government employees “full opportunity” to observe the Holy Week and travel.
The president, however, gave a caveat that those involved in health services and response teams to disaster should observe their usual operations and provide the necessary services.
