President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. already arrived in the United States on Wednesday morning (Philippine time) for his attendance at the 2023 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Leaders’ Summit, which includes his working visits to Los Angeles and Hawaii.
According to Department of Affairs (DFA) Undersecretary Charles Jose, Marcos will push for financing a just, sustainable, and affordable energy transition through partnerships with the business sector.
The President will also emphasize the necessity of investing more in clean energy to preserve and protect the environment.
Moreover, Marcos will also meet top American business companies as well as the Filipino community in the US.
He will also expect to witness the signing of a number of government-to-government, public-private, and business agreements that will cover the priority sectors.
