Marcos arrives in Malacañang for final meeting with outgoing Prez Duterte

President-elect Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. arrived in Malacañang on Thursday to give a courtesy call to outgoing President Rodrigo Duterte before his inauguration later this day.
Marcos arrived at the Palace past 10 AM and was personally welcomed by Duterte.
Following their short meeting, Duterte was given departure honors by the military. aswitnessed by his Cabinet members.

According to National Security Adviser Hermogenes Esperon Jr., Duterte will not be attending the oath-taking ceremony of Marcos at the National Museum as he is set to fly to his hometown Davao City via a commercial flight right after the departure honors.
At exactly 12 noon later, Marcos will be sworn in as the 17th President of the Philippines.
