President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. named Benito Techico as his special envoy to China for trade, investments, and tourism.

In photos uploaded by the President Communications Office (PCO), Techico is seen taking his oath of office before Marcos.

"Inaasahang makikipagtulungan din siya sa mga opisyal ng pamahalaan, mga lider sa negosyo, at iba pang mahalagang stakeholder upang magpromote at mapabuti ang ekonomikong kooperasyon sa pagitan ng dalawang bansa," the officice said.
