Officials of the Manila North Cemetery have launched an online “Puntod Finder” system to help visitors easily locate the graves of their departed loved ones as the country prepares for Undas 2025.
In an interview with DZRH’s Damdaming Bayan, Manila North Cemetery Administrator Daniel Tan shared that the new system aims to make visits more convenient for the public.
“Mayroon tayong puntod finder. Ngayon lamang ito, simula noong umupo kami noong July 1, nag-encode kami nang nag-encode para magawa itong website [puntod finder],” Tan said.
Meanwhile, Manila City Mayor Isko Moreno also announced in an online post that the Manila South Cemetery has launched its own version of the online Puntod Finder, offering similar access to burial records.
The new feature is part of their effort to ensure a more organized and accessible Undas observance in the city’s public cemeteries this year.
Both Manila North and South Cemeteries will be open to the public from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. during Undas 2025.
