The Manila Cathedral, also known as Minor Basilica and Metropolitan Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, is opening an exhibit that will feature the memorabilia during the papal visit of former and present Popes in the country.
In a Facebook post on Sunday, the Manila Cathedral said among the memorabilia to be featured in the “Popes in the Philippines” exhibit are the portrait given by St. Paul VI to the Apostolic Nunciature, the chair used by St. John Paul II, the Missal used by Pope Francis and many more.
The memorabilia exhibit is located at Blessed Souls Chapel of the Manila Cathedral.
It will be open at 5 PM on Thursday, June 29, the day that the solemnity of Saint Peter and Saint Paul is commemorated and also recognized as Pope's Day.
The public can visit the “Popes in the Philippines” exhibit until Sunday, July 2.
According to Manila Cathedral, the exhibit was created in a bid to keep the memories of the Popes alive and close to the Filipinos.
