Transport Group Manibela started their three-day transport strike prior to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.’s second State of the Nation Address (SONA).

With tarpaulins read “no PUV phase out,” the transport group started their protests along University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman in Quezon City circling around Commonwealth Avenue and Elliptical Road.

By seven in the morning, the majority of PUV drivers were still picking up local commuters.

In the meantime, police officers were stationed nearby to control traffic and assure safety.
