Following the "date night" in Paris video of BTS’ V and Blackpink’s Jennie, which left both ARMYs and BLINKs in shock, both the South Korean stars’ management agencies, YG Entertainment and HYBE, reacted to the issue.

A few days ago, a video of V and Jennie broke the internet after they were seen holding hands while walking together, strolling the streets of Paris, which French journalist and photographer Amar Taoualit confirmed on social media.

After the clips of the two K-pop stars made the fans go crazy, Taoualit received messages from both fandoms, and he further explained that he didn’t plan to see the Korean stars in front of him while he was walking around in Paris, which is why he used his phone to take a video.

With the speculations about their relationship, YG Entertainment and HYBE briefly commented on the issue, saying that it's difficult to check the matter.

In May 2022, Jennie and V sparked dating rumors when alleged photos of them having their vacation on Jeju Island boomed online.

Neither of the management agencies addressed the allegations, and YG released a statement about taking legal action against those who leaked personal photos of Jennie.
