A man was killed on Kasoy St., Pasong Tamo, Quezon City after being stabbed by an unidentified assailant early Tuesday, January 14, according to a report by Val Gonzales.
According to the authorities' investigation, the crime occurred at around 2 a.m. when residents heard the 38-year-old victim screaming for help. The victim was reportedly riding a tricycle when the suspect suddenly approached and stabbed him in the left shoulder.
The victim was able to walk for a short distance, but collapsed a few seconds later.
Though the victim was rushed to the hospital, he was declared dead on arrival.
The suspect left behind the knife used in the crime.
Authorities are checking if there are any CCTV cameras in the area and are investigating the possible motive for the stabbing.
