A man was shot on Friday morning at Gerona Street near Juan Luna in Tondo, Manila, with the incident captured on CCTV footage, RH Boy Gonzales reported.
According to Barangay 86 Chairman James Tempongko, the shooting occurred around 8:00 AM in a narrow alley.
The victim has been identified by the Manila Police District (MPD) as Darius Quebec, a resident of Lacson Street in Tondo and an employee at a local mall.
The CCTV footage from Barangay 86 shows Quebec walking when he was approached by the suspect, who was riding a motorcycle. Bystanders reported hearing two gunshots during the incident.
The MPD is currently conducting a backtracking investigation to track down the suspect.
Authorities are also working to determine the motive behind the shooting.
Meanwhile, neighbors of the victim said they didn't see any motive for the killing, as he did not have any known enemies.
