A man was found dead at past 7:00AM, Wednesday after the vehicle he was driving crashed into an LRT-2 post along Marcos Highway in Pasig City.
According to Edniel Parrosa's report, witnesses said the incident occurred shortly before 6:00 a.m.
The victim, whose identity has not yet been publicly disclosed, was driving a gray Honda City with license plate XGR 487 when it slammed into a concrete pillar supporting the LRT-2 rail line.
Emergency responders found the victim still in the driver’s seat as the front of the vehicle was completely wrecked, with severe damage to the left side, making retrieval efforts difficult for rescuers.
An identification card was found inside the car, and the victim’s family has been notified about the accident.
Also found inside the vehicle was a pet dog, which survived the crash and was already retrieved by the responders.
