A man has been rescued after climbing a Meralco utility pole in Brgy. Western Bicutan, Taguig City, on Tuesday night, August 6.

According to a report by RH Noche Cacas, the man had been on the pole since shortly after 8 a.m.
The power supply was shut off in parts of the area to facilitate his rescue.

After five hours of negotiations, the man finally agreed to come down and join the rescuers.
Authorities are still working to determine whether the man has mental health issues or was under the influence of drugs.
