The Malacañang Palace is set to hold the second series of “Konsyerto sa Palasyo” (KPS) this Sunday, August 6.
In a statement on Friday, the Presidential Communication Office (PCO) said the second KPS will be dedicated to Filipino athletes.
At least 300 athletes are expected to attend.
Among the performers invited are Chloe Redondo, Emman Buñao, Jopper Ril, and Kevin Traqueña who will showcase their powerful live vocals.
Also set to flaunt their talents are beatbox artists Adrian "AD BEAT" Ferrer, Neil Rey Llanes, and former “Voice” France Season 8 contestant Aivan Mendoza.
Groups like PINOPELA, a Baguio-based acapella group, and Douglas Nierras Powerdance, a professional dance group, will likewise heat up the KPS stage.
According to the PCO, most of the featured performers “had viral videos on social media and were chosen for their remarkable talent and artistry”.
The concert is scheduled to begin at 6 PM, and this can be watched online through the official Facebook pages of Radio Television Malacañang (RTVM) and the Office of the President (OP).
The Palace, as initiated by President Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr., launched the KPS in April this year.
The first concert was a tribute to Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) members and their families.
PCO earlier said that the KPS will be a series of concerts which means more performances are set to come.
