Actress and television host Maja Salvador will be temporarily leaving the longest-running noon-time show “Eat Bulaga!”, her management has announced.
In a statement posted on its official Facebook page on Thursday, Crown Artist Management cited the actress’ upcoming wedding with her fiance Rambo Nuñez and the “uncertainties” surrounding the noon show as reasons why she will be leaving.
“This decision was already communicated to their management, so we’re hoping for your utmost understanding,” it said.
“Becoming a Dabarkads in Eat Bulaga was a dream of Maja that came true one and half years ago, but for now, we have to give it a pause,” Crown Artist said.
It said that the 34-year-old actress wishes the show, the staff, and the hosts all the best.
Maja officially became a Dabarkads in October 2021. During her first appearance in the Kapuso program, she recounted that she grew up watching the show.
As of this writing, she has yet to release a comment about her departure from the show.
