"It is already for the signature of the Senate President and it will be forwarded very soon [to the OP]," Ejercito told reporters in an interview.
He said minor errors in the Congress-approved Senate Bill 2020 such as typos, grammar, and numberings have been addressed.
"That's why it took a while, inayos po muna and made sure that malinis 'yung bill bago ito ma-forward sa Malacañáng," he said.
The Senator said he is not certain if the conflicting provisions in the two versions have been resolved.
But Ejercito assured that the "very essence" of the approved measure is still retained.
Both the Senate President and the House Speaker are mandated to sign the final copy of the bill, also known as the enrolled bill, before transmitting this to the OP to be approved as a law.
