A magnitude 6.1 earthquake struck east of Bagamanoc in Catanduanes on Wednesday, October 2, according to PHIVOLCS.
Based on PHIVOLCS's report, the earthquake originated from a tectonic event at 5:19 a.m. with a depth of 30 kilometers.
Intensities were reported in the following areas:
- Intensity I - Irosin, SORSOGON
