A magnitude 5 earthquake struck west of Caraga, Davao Oriental, on Tuesday, October 10, according to PHIVOLCS.

Based on PHIVOLCS' monitoring, the earthquake was tectonic in origin and occurred at 4:20 a.m., with a depth of 10 kilometers.
