A magnitude 4.4 earthquake struck the Island of Tinaga in Vinzons, Camarines Norte on Monday, August 5, according to PHIVOLCS.
The tectonic quake occurred at 10:34 a.m. and had a depth of 1 kilometer.
The observed intensities were as follows:
- Intensity III: Vinzons and Jose Panganiban in Camarines Norte; Mercedez in Camarines Sur
- Intensity II: Paracale, San Vicente, Talisay, Capalonga, Santa Elena, Labo, Daet, and San Lorenzo Ruiz in Camarines Norte; Gallego in Camarines Sur; Polillo, Panukulan, Tagkawayan, and Jomalig in Quezon

- Intensity II: Guinayangan and Polillo in Quezon
