Magnitude 4.8 quake strikes Sarangani, Davao Occidental

A magnitude 4.8 earthquake struck Balut Island in Sarangani, Davao Occidental on Tuesday, Feb. 13, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS).
The tectonic earthquake occurred at 8:34 in the morning.
It was located at 04.85°N, 125.41°E - 063 km S 01° W of Balut Island with a depth of 26 km.

Intensity II was felt in the City of General Santos, South Cotabato and Glan, Sarangani.
Meanwhile, the areas of Polomolok, Tupi, and T'Boli in South Cotabato, Kiamaba, Malungon, and Alabel in Sarangani felt Intensity I.
PHIVOLCS said no damage and aftershocks would likely happen.
