Filipina volleyball star Maddie Madayag signed up with the Japanese team Kurobe Aqua Fairies, and will compete in the inaugural season of the Japan SV. League, which will kick-off on October.
The Aqua Fairies announced the signing of the 204 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference 1 Best Middle Blocker on Monday, September 2.
Prior to joining the Fairies, Madayag played for the Choco Mucho Flying Titans in the PVL for four seasons.
"We're incredibly proud of you, Maddie, for seizing this amazing opportunity in your career. Your Choco Mucho Flying Titans fam is with you every step of the way," the Titans said in a post in the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter.
Aside from Madayag, Jia De Guzman and Jaja Santiago will also see action in the Japan SV. League after signing up with the Denso Airybees and the Osake Marvelous, respectively.
