Flights to and from the Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA) for Tuesday, Oct. 25, have resumed, the management announced.
In its 8 am public advisory, MCIA said the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) have also authorized the resumption of its flight operations.
“Passengers are strongly advised to coordinate with their airlines for the status of their flights before proceeding to the airport,” it said.
On Oct. 23, Korean Air flight no. KE631 arriving from Incheon in South Korea at around 11 pm overshot the runway during a landing attempt due to bad weather.
The 162 passengers and 11 crew onboard the A330 aircraft were reported safe and no one was injured.
