The Cavite Extension Phase 1 of the Light Rail Transit Terminal 1 (LRT-1) is set to open before the end of 2024, according to Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC).

According to LRMC, Phase 1 covers the first five stations in Cavite Extension, Redemptorist, MIA, Asiaworld, Ninoy Aquino, and Dr. Santos Station.

With the upcoming opening of the first five new LRT-1 stations, Transportation Sec. Jaime Bautista said that it will serve an estimated 50,000 passengers.
