The Light Rail Transit Line 2 (LRT-2) has resumed normal operations after a technical problem caused a delay in the start of its services on Wednesday morning, February 4.
In its latest advisory issued at 6:02 a.m., the Light Rail Transit Authority (LRTA) announced that full operations had resumed after a technical issue involving a train at the Araneta Center–Cubao Station was successfully resolved.
“Nagsimula na ang operasyon ng LRT Line 2 ngayong umaga. May biyahe na mula Antipolo hanggang Recto Station at pabalik,” the LRTA said in its statement.
Train services are now operating normally in both directions, from Antipolo to Recto and vice versa.
However, some passengers expressed frustration over the delayed advisory, noting that the announcement came more than 20 minutes after the scheduled opening of operations.
Several commuters said they were left waiting at stations without timely updates, leading to confusion and dissatisfaction.
