The LRMC earlier announced the temporary enforcement of a 25kph speed restriction between Dr. Santos and Fernando Poe Jr. stations to address an issue involving one of its light rail vehicles (LRV).
The management did not mentioned the specific cause of restrictions, however LRMC clarified that their technical team responded promptly to assess and resolve the situation.
“The technician is already on the way to check the fault of the affected LRV,” LRMC said in a post.
Due to this, commuters experienced slight delays, with travel times extended by up to eight minutes during the temporary speed adjustment.
