Commuters can ride Light Rail Transit’s (LRT) Line 1 and Line 2 for free on selected hours on Monday, June 12 in celebration of the country’s 125th Independence Day.

In an advisory, LRT-1’s private operator Light Rail Manila Corporation (LRMC) announced that there will be a libreng sakay at all stations in the morning from 7 AM to 9 AM.

In the afternoon, the free rides will be from 5 PM to 7 PM.

It said that the first trip on both Recto and Antipolo stations on Monday will start at 5 AM.

The last trip on Antipolo station will be at 9:00 PM and on Recto Station at 9:30 PM.
