Bad news welcomed consumers this month of October as oil companies implemented a price increase on Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG).
Effective last Sunday, Oct. 1, the prices of Solane-branded LPG products have risen by ₱3.73 per kilogram, while Regasco have increased by ₱3.50 per kilo.
In a separate advisory, the prices of Petron Corporation-branded LPG rose to ₱3.75 per kilo.
Likewise, the Petron Corporation enforced a price hike in its Auto LPG products by ₱2.09 per litter.
"These reflect the international contract price of LPG for the month of October," the oil company said.

The price adjustment pushed the price of a regular 11-kilogram LPG tank to ₱41.
This also marked the third week that the LPG prices in local markets soared.
