LPG prices up in December

Ahead of the holiday season, oil companies announced a price hike of their Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) effective December 1.
In separate advisories, both Petroleum Corporation and Phoenix LPG Phils announced increase of their LPG prices by Php 2.25 per kilogram.
Alongside this, a Php 1.25 to Php 1.26 per liter price hike will be implemented for their Auto LPG products.
Meanwhile, Solane announced an increase of Php 2.27 for its LPG effective at 6 am on December 1.
Petron said the price hike is based on the “international contract price of LPG” for December.
This marks the second straight month that oil firms implemented LPG price hikes.
