The low-pressure area (LPA), formerly Tropical Depression Amang, will continue to affect the weather in Metro Manila and four other places.
As of 4:00 AM on Friday, April 14, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) positioned the LPA at 40 kilometers southwest of Iba, Zambales.
PAGASA said that the LPA will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in Metro Manila, Pangasinan, Tarlac, Pampanga, Zambales, and Bataan.
The weather-monitoring agency warned that the said areas may experience flash floods or landslides due to moderate with at times heavy rains.
Meanwhile, PAGASA said that partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will prevail over the rest of the country due to localized thunderstorms.
