A lotto patron from Nueva Ecija has won a total of ₱36,025,867.40 in Grand Lotto 6/55, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced on Friday, November 11.
PCSO said that the 54-year-old bettor got the perfect combination of 30-17-06-12-04-29, which came from his family member's birthdate.
He also revealed that he had already won 2D games three times, pushing him to try other digit games.
“Pag nilaan para sayo, sayo ibibigay," the winner said.
Meanwhile, PCSO vowed to its commitment to transparency and fairness in all its gaming products, as they also encourage the public to play responsibly.
The country's lottery agency reminded everyone to buy tickets from authorized PCSO outlets.
Twenty percent tax will automatically be deducted from the jackpot prize based on the Tax Reform Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) Law.
A winner should get his or her prize within one year from the draw date; otherwise, they will be forfeited to form part of the PCSO Charity Fund under the PCSO Charter.
