American pop superstar Taylor Swift delighted her fans during her Eras Tour concert in Kansas City by unveiling a surprise music video (MV) for the vault track “I Can See You“ from her re-recorded album, Speak Now (Taylor's Version).
The star in the music video were none other than her ex-boyfriend Taylor Lautner, who served as the inspiration for her song “Back to December“, and American artists Joey King and Presley Cash.
Instead of releasing the visuals on YouTube, Swift chose to debut the video during her live concert, leaving the audience in awe when she invited Lautner, King, and Cash to join her onstage.

Before the video played, Swift took a moment to express her appreciation for Lautner's positive influence during the making of the Speak Now album in 2009.
“[Lautner] was a very positive force in my life when I was making the Speak Now album, and I want to say he did every single stunt that you saw in that music video,” the multi-awarded singer said.
She also revealed that Lautner and his wife, Taylor Dome, have become some of her closest friends, adding a touch of convenience as they all share the same first name.
”He and his wife have become some of my closest friends, and it’s very convenient because we all share the same first name,” she continued.
Responding to Swift's kind words, Lautner expressed his deep respect for her as both an artist and a person, highlighting her grace, humility, and kindness.
”I respect you so much. Not just for the singer you are, the songwriter, the performer — but truly for the human you are. You are gracious, humble, kind and I’m honored to know you,” the 31-year-old Twilight star responded.
Meanwhile, following the release of the music video, Swift shared behind-the-scenes snapshots from the set, including a photo featuring herself, Lautner, and his wife playfully recreating the iconic Spider-Man meme.

In an Instagram caption, Swift explained that she had written the video treatment over a year ago and wanted to symbolize how it felt to have her fans help her reclaim her music.
She praised Lautner for doing all the stunts himself and thanked Taylor Dome for being an awesome presence on set.
Taylor Lautner and Taylor Swift had a brief relationship in 2009 after meeting on the set of the film Valentine's Day.
They parted ways in December of that same year.
Swift's song "Back to December" is widely believed to be about their relationship, with the lyrics expressing remorse and a desire to reconcile.
